Two Different Left Bundle Branch Block Patterns of Premature Ventricular Contraction Originating from Right Coronary Cusp
نویسنده
چکیده
Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) or ventricular tachycardia (VT), with QRS morphologies of left bundle branch block (LBBB) and inferior axis can be ablated successfully from the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT). However, it is not uncommon that PVCs or VT assumed to originate from the RVOT actually arise from the aortic root because of the proximity of the RVOT to the aortic root. Spatially, the aortic valve lies to the right and posterior to the RVOT.1 We present a patient with right coronary cusp origin PVCs, exhibiting two distinct QRS morphologies with LBBB pattern. Case

Repetitive monomorphic ventricular tachycardia originating from the aortic sinus cusp: electrocardiographic characterization for guiding catheter ablation.
OBJECTIVES We sought to investigate the electrocardiographic (ECG) characteristics for guiding catheter ablation in patients with repetitive monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (RMVT) originating from the aortic sinus cusp (ASC). BACKGROUND Repetitive monomorphic ventricular tachycardia can originate from the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) and ASC in patients with a left bundle branch...
متن کاملLeft Bundle Branch Block
Coronary angiography, cine left ventriculography, and the cardiovascular hemodynamics of 24 patients with left bundle branch block were studied. Seven patients were found to have significant coronary artery disease, always severe. Five had cardiomyopathy and seven had valvular disease. Only those with coronary artery disease or cardiomyopathy had abnormal left ventricular contraction patterns. ...
متن کاملPremature ventricular contractions with two QRS morphologies originate from one focus in great cardiac vein
It has been demonstrated that catheter ablation may be a reliable technique for curing ventricular arrhythmias originating from the great cardiac vein (GCV), and there are some challenges and risks with this therapeutic method. Although some reports described successful catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardias originating from the GCV, premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) with left bu...
متن کاملPrevalence and clinical, electrocardiographic, and electrophysiologic characteristics of ventricular arrhythmias originating from the noncoronary sinus of Valsalva.
BACKGROUND Idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) can be rarely ablated from the noncoronary cusp (NCC) of the aorta. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence and the clinical, electrocardiographic, and electrophysiologic characteristics of idiopathic NCC VAs. METHODS We studied 90 consecutive patients who underwent successful catheter ablation of idiopathic a...
متن کاملPatterns of ventricular contraction in patients with conduction abnormality studied by radionuclide angiocardiography.
The phase image generated by radionuclide angiocardiography illustrates the regional timing of ventricular wall motion. In this study the phase image was used to investigate the patterns of ventricular contraction in 103 subjects with either normal hearts or a conduction abnormality. In 38 normal subjects the right ventricle contracted on average 7 ms after the left, and the last region to cont...
